This online course incorporates the content and pedagogy for teachers to deliver an eight-unit introductory course on teaching the basics of music to secondary students using GarageBand, a software package for digital music creation. Participants will learn how to use GarageBand for content delivery and other music classroom uses. A copy of Barb’s book, Teaching Music Through Composition: A Curriculum Using Technology will be included with the course tuition. Graduate credit is available.
